well now I am very confused. I thought we as muslims should follow the Quran. If the Quran says something is Haram then it is. If a Hadith does we never know. Anyone could edit hadiths although I don't get why they would. There are also things midway. Like sometimes something isn't haram but it isn't halal either or maybe you don't feel like its the right thing to do.

That is correct, my dear sister. Be assured of it!
In my humble opinion, if we are uncertain or confused by the hadith we read, do not take it as a handle. Make the Qur'an as the main guide of our life.
Muslims must return to the Qur'an. When the Prophet Muhammad was not with us anymore, that he left behind is the Qur'an. The Qur'an is the only pure source that can be trusted to keep our faith.
I found a lot of hadiths as unreliable, contradictory, and they are the result of man-made or fabricated. Please be careful. If we want to learn about hadith, we also must learn the history behind them.
Already many Muslims who are get lost because of blind faith in the hadith.
Please be careful. Stay focused and believe in the Qur'an. Do not believe in the hadith that makes your heart feel hesitant.
lol according to my aunt this is what she says about hadith that are to be questioned "Well it all starts when an old guy grabs some c*ap from their mind and call scholars and say OMG I FOUND A HADITH! And the scholars make it official..." Yeah pratically 60% of muslims follow Hadiths not Quran O_o
ah it turns out it should look nice and clean...not all messy, crazy and ...well gross O_o hehe ^^ i found that out a few weeks ago... so if it is all messy, crawzy, and gross then you can give it a slight trim i guess..
